Pros – Lightweight, mesh shoes dry faster than solid boots, no matter how waterproof something is it’s going to get wet on the Appalachian Trail, Salomon has an excellent warranty on their products. After 1000 miles to Harpers Ferry, I was able to contact the company for a fresh pair for free, as mine had worn out.
Cons – Was a little colder to hike with in the winter months, The laces are a little tricky to get used to (they can come unlooped easily, making it easy to trip over objects).
